Stardew Valley - Steam Game Review!

Image
I've been looking forward to writing this review on my favourite game. Stardew Valley is amazing! Stardew Valley. Those two words make me smile, because I have many fond memories of this game. Coded by a solo developer , this game captures your attention and keeps you playing for hours at a time. It's easy to get hundreds of gameplay hours without even realising. I'm going to talk about why this is my favourite game, but if you're in a rush and don't have time, let me summarise it for you - buy the game ! Gameplay Opinion: If you've read other reviews of this game, I'm sure you've seen most of them raving about how amazing Stardew Valley is. Well, let me admit, mine is not going to be any different - I think this game is spectacular too. You start off by inheriting your Grandad's old farm, which he left to you after he died. It's in a quaint little place called, surprisingly enough, Stardew Valley. You start off by planting 15 parsnip seeds, whi...

HomeWind - Steam Game Review!

Image
This game has only been out for just over a day at the time of this review, so here's my opinion on it so far! HomeWind, by solo developer Adi Zhavo, is a relaxing strategy game. I think it's good for passing time and unwinding, and here's why: Gameplay Opinion: The game is a strategy game. This means that, yes, you must use your brain while playing it. 🧠 You begin each level by placing down your "City Center" -  a large building, which you must place on the map. Placing the City Center. After that, you will receive your first few buildings. You earn "points" in the game by placing buildings near other buildings that they are compatible with. For example, by placing a house nearer to the City Center, you get more points. Choosing a building pack after completing a stage. Place stuff near to something they are compatible with, and you'll gain more points! The strategy part of the game comes from the fact that you can't just place the buildings a...

Satisfactory - Steam Game Review!

Image
So, you're wondering whether you should buy Satisfactory from Steam? Well, you're reading the right review! Have you heard of Satisfactory before? If you haven't, it's basically a game where you're dumped on an abandoned planet by a rich corporation (I'd make a guess that they pay pretty well to persuade employees to partake in this) and are left to build up a factory using resources you collect from the surrounding environment. You slowly progress through different stages, and unlock new resources and factory items by providing your HUB with requested items! As you build up your factory, you can automate the processes, which is very satisfying (or should I say satisfactory-ing... ok sorry, I'll stop, that doesn't even make sense 😑). Eventually, the goal is to be able to provide and automate the production of any item, quickly and efficiently. And did I mention, there are monsters around that attempt to kill you if you go near them! Let's begin the...
